This is what is happening, My Sip Software X and Proxy (deltathree) both support Session Timers. The Proxy's first 200 OK (to my Initial Invite) contains Refresher = "uas" with Session-Expires 600. After 5 minutes (half of 600 which is correct) the Proxy sends me a re-invite ( a session refresh invite) which contains Session-Expire:3600 and Refresher = "uac" (Alert: Earlier in the 200Ok it was "uas") and now when I respond with the 200 OK the Proxy does not respond hence connection dies. Is the Proxy Behaviour Correct? What am I supposed to do it from my end [ABN] the proxy will not generate the re-INVITE to refresh the timer. the session-refresh requests will always be generated by UAC/UAS and will be useful for the proxies. If you can brief your setup in detail one can help you better OR if you can send the message trace would be helpful to solve your problem... [ABN] The refresher role (refresher=uac in re-INVITE) mentioned in your scenario looks to be fine... looking forward towards a positive reply thanks Mandeep Ahuja p.s I have the ethereal traces if required. _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
