From: Alf Salte <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> My proxy/registrar then forward the SIP message to a PSTN gateway and this gateway then makes a dial on the PSTN net. However, when the phone ring in the PSTN net and someone picks up the phone they get to see the PRI number for the gateway. It is as if some unit along the line here had a logic that goes like this "Hmm.. the caller's number is missing, so we insert the PRI number for that line.
I suspect the problem is that when the gateway places an outgoing call, either the gateway or the PSTN switch it is connected to decides to attach the gateway's PRI number to the call. You probably need to configure the gateway to send the correct signaling to the PSTN to have the PSTN call marked as anonymous.
