I am running an User Agent (UA) with two users. User 1 of UA
sends INVITE to User 2 of UA through a Proxy.
What should be the behaviour of
1) Stateful proxy
2) Stateless Proxy
in terms of dialog. Is proxy needs to mantain seperate dialogs between
User 1 to proxy and User2 to proxy.
A "dialog" extends from the user agent at one end of the connection to
the other -- A proxy through which the initial INVITE passed will by
default not participate further in the dialog, but if it record-routes
itself, all in-dialog requests/responses will pass through it also.
(This is true regardless of whether the proxy is stateful or
stateless.)
