I am writing a UA and it has been working all right with several Asterisk servers. Recently we got a new server running Asterisk 1.4.22 and things stop working. After much debugging, we found out that this server requires authentication on INVITE. We have been unable to figure out why this is the case. What configuration tells a sip server that authentication is required on INVITE action? Thanks for your help.
