Hi Shinji, Now i understood that
UAC UAS 1.INVITE ------------> 2. <------------407-INVITE 3.ACK---------------> 4.INVITE-----------> (new INVITE sent after 407 challenge response) 5. < ---------------- 180 6. <---------------- 200 7 ------------------->ACK Credentials present in INVITE from step 4 and ACK in step 7 must be same. Hope it's correct? Thanks, Rajani OKUMURA Shinji wrote: > Rajani, > > The sentence is relevant only to 2xx to INVITE. > And basically an ACK a UAS receives is sent by a proxy. > A proxy will have no credential. > That is, the ACK need not have a credential. > > Regards, > Shinji > > "rajanikanth.ha" <[email protected]> > Wed, 26 May 2010 11:06:56 +0530 > >> Hi all, >> >> Can anybody please suggest me how to check the following requirement of >> RFC3261: >> >> In section 13.2.2.4 2xx Responses of RFC3261 >> The ACK MUST contain the same credentials as the INVITE. >> >> UAC UAS >> >> 1.INVITE ------------> >> 2. <------------407-INVITE >> 3.ACK---------------> >> >> Do i have to check credentials in the ACK message sent in the step 3 >> with that of INVITE request sent in step1? >> Is it correct? >> >> -- >> Thanks, >> Rajani >> > _______________________________________________ > Sip-implementors mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors > > _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
