There is a length limitation in bytes on the messages posted to the SIP 
exploder, which I for one am glad of given the amount of time I have to spend 
keeping my inbox from overflowing.

If your message exceeds that length, it is held for moderation until Dean or 
myself get round to spending the cycles to unblock it. Many times we have 
better things to do with life.

If you blindly reply to existing messages including all the content from the 
thread, then you will rapidly reach this limit. 

Posting non-text mails (e.g. RTF or HTML) also consumes more space and 
therefore will more rapidly exceed this limit. You do not need to use the MS 
outlook default of not sending text - please change these defaults to 
text/plain when sending to IETF lists.
