The simple way (without hacking the code) is to run SIPP once to create the
calls, at whatever cps you need and then exit SIPP. Run it again with a very
high cps just to send the BYE storm.
You have to make sure that the 2nd run uses the same Call-ID values as the
first and you have to be careful of the tag values (or be pre-3261 and leave
them out).
If you are testing a device that modifies the tag values both ways (that you
cannot predict) and demands RFC 3261 compliance that will not work,
otherwise it will.

Hi Sipp'ers
I have a requirement to simulate a BYE storm, I used the simple UAC/UAS
scenarios for a couple of thousand calls, I could not work out how using the
existing scripting language I could control sending the BYE's for these
established calls at say 40 cps.
Given there is a way to force the call setup @ variable rates I wondered if
there was simple way of controlling the release rate.
