Hi there,
more and more users are contributing, this is great. It's really time to put
the bases of an automated test suite to make sure we still have the basis
rights.
What framework do you think should be used to create, maintain and run those
tests?
- cppunit: might not be the level of testing we would want
- custom framework: I have some code I could contribute for that if I get
clearance - it's Perl and tcl/expect based
- something else?
Some requirements:
- must run on Unix platforms and possibly Cygwin
- should be simple to start and get results ("make tests")
I'd love to get your feedbacks on this.
