Hi Olivier,
I don't have a development experience in open source. Can you please provide me
pointers where to start with.

No. But user contributions are welcome, so if you have the bandwidth to do it
yourself, feel free to submit a patch. We'll then review it as soon as the 3.0
version is released (this shouldn't be long now).

I said you cannot configure sipp through the command line to make it store the
logs in a specified directory. But you can of course move the logs using the
'mv' command, and you can do it automatically if you launch sipp inside a shell
script.

Hi Jai,
We are getting different responses, you are saying that it is possible and
Olivier says it is currently not supported.
I am talking about the command line option for ex. -trace_msg.
can you elaborate what you are mentioning about mv commnad.

Hi Santosh,
Yes.. you can make a script to run your sipp scenario and in the same script
you can provide the path to move the logs to a specific directory from the
existing location, with a normal "mv" command.
Thanks,
- Jai

Subject: [Sipp-users] Log files in a different directory
Hi,
I want the log file generated by SIPp to be placed in a specific folder.
Currently it saves where the scenario file is present. Can we provide some path
where the logs can be saved.
