hi david,
I feel so sorry if I give a strange Question cause I'm just trying to
understand and I must be
1. how do I use user_gen.pl ? I've changed for domain and realm ,what are
start_counter and nbUsers ?
2. my Open IMS core saves it's user in
/opt/OpenIMSCore/FHoSS/deploy/userdata.sql , do ims_bench.pl or user_gen.pl
save the generated users in that location ?

IMS Bench SIPp will register users as part
of the preparation phase when it runs. But it will need user data that matches
users created in your SUT (its HSS if that’s how your SUT is decomposed).
You can either let ims_bench.pl generate user data automatically based on a
pattern that matches your users or do a more manual configuration and use your
own script and data source to create the user data (user_gen.pl gives simple
code
example).

Subject: create user
hi,
I'm still new in SIPp (IMS_Bench)
I follow the thread "run basic scenario" in
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg03130.html
how to create thousands users ??
i guess that thousands users must a registered user in
HSS , I dont get it , it's impossible if I create users one by one manually.
is user_gen.pl or ims_bench.pl can add user into HSS ?
I guess my thinking pattern is wrong.
any idea ?
thanks
agung
