Hi all,

I am working on a project where I need to build a tool for testing bridging
system interfaces (BSI).  These devices link disparate communications systems
and allow them to communicate with each other.  BSI nodes use SIP to
communicate with each other and pass endpoint traffic.  So, I need to put
something together that can verify if a particular message (or sequence) has
been received and display/log the results as "Test 1/2/3... Passed."  I'm not
sure how to do that yet.  If I used SIPp, I might be able to modify a server
scenario to look for the sequences I want, but I'd need to report them somehow
too...and there is a lot of source code.

So yeah, I am just getting started and would appreciate it if anyone could
direct me to where in the source I would need to look to modify the screen
output and where SIPp tests for a kind of message header then logs the result.
Or, if there is a better tool out there, I would appreciate a suggestion.

Regards,

Anna
