Hi.
I suggest you separate registration and subscription to 2 different
scenarios:
1) UAC Subscribe-Notify scenario is easy to create and so REGISTER
2) Merging both subscribe-notify and register scenarios will make your
XMLs complicated and dificult to debug/analyze results and statistics.
3) While performing a registration you want to register new AOR and not
to refresh existing one. Thus you need To header at each REGISTER to be
different from previous one.
4) You can run two instance of sipp on the same machine but different
port. That is there will be an instance for REGISTER and one for
subscribe-notify.
I think that's all for a while...
If you need more help don't hesitate to ask.

Subject: [Sipp-users] Testing Registers and Subscriptions
Hi,
I would like to use sipp to test a few thousand registrations and
subscriptions. I have succeeded in convincing sipp to do x concurrent
calls of y seconds etc. However our current tests with registrations
all seem to register the phone and after working through the XML file
drop the connection. How do I teach sipp to get 2000 registrations
going, keep them up, do subscriptions, answer to options (asterisk)? I
am aware that you are not going to give me detailed step by step
instructions but if you could put me into the right way of sipp-
thinking it would help tremendously!
Thanks in advance,
JP
