Hello,
We are trying to use SIPp to test fax calls (m=image, and T.38 packets).
We have made our own SIPp 3.2 build per the patch given by Patrick M at
:

ml
<http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg02906.h
tml> and have searched the mailing list threads.
Our goal is to be able to replay the pcap from a successful T.38 fax
call with a delivery of the TIF image to an end user. Visual inspection
of the TIF image is the verification of the test.
Is this an achievable task with SIPp installed on a remote linux server
as a UAC?
1) Specifically, is it even possible to negotiate with SDP in a SIP PBX
environment? We are having trouble and are getting 488 (not acceptable
here) on the response from the SIP server.
2) Secondly, if the SIPp SDP negotiation is possible, then it is
possible to replay the fax T.38 pcap using SIPp, and have a TIF image
delivered to the end user?
We basically are wondering if anyone out there has tried or has had
success with this? Or do you use a different tool to replay fax T.38 ?
Thanks.
Don and Nisha
