Hi,
I'm trying to start using SIPp. But, any sipp command from a WinXP command
shell give me:
"cygwin warning:
MS-DOS style path detected: c:\usr\share\terminfo
Preferred POSIX equivalent is: /cygdrive/c/usr/share/terminfo
CYGWIN environment variable option "nodosfilewarning" turns off this
warning.
Consult the user's guide for more details about POSIX paths:
http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/using.html#using-pathnames
Error opening terminal: cygwin."
So I modified Startterm to this:
SET SIPPINSTDIR=c:\Program Files\Sipp
SET TERMINFO=c:\usr\share\terminfo
rem SET TERMINFO=/cygdrive/c/usr/share/terminfo
cmd /k "cd %SIPPINSTDIR% && mount c:/ / && mode 81,26 && cls && ECHO You can
now run sipp by typing 'sipp'"
But this fails with a few problems:
"mount: warning: couldn't determine mount type.
mount: /: Operation not permitted"
Plus, c:\usr\share\term does not exist in Windows. Isn't that a problem?
I have cygwin1.dll version 1007.7.0.0 in the sipp folder, but Cygwin is not
otherwise installed.
I'm hoping for suggestions.
Thanks,
/John
