why not set up an Ubuntu in a Virtual Machine. I think this would be easier.

Betreff: Re: [Sipp-users] Compiling problems with SIPp

Hi Sri,
I have already installed cygwin on my Windows 7 platform and I have tried both
the commands in the command prompt of cygwin and SIPp command prompt. But I
could not go any forward. all the time it throws the error saying that "command
not found"

So any advice of how I can proceed to use this tool on my Windows machine would
be of great help to me. Especially some nice documentation for begginers like
me would be good.

Thanks

Hi,
I have installed SIPp tool on my Windows 7 machine and I opened the SIPp
command prompt window and followed the instructions from the SIPp manual.

And when I type either commands which is as shown here Compile using either
"make pcapplay_cygwin" or "pcapplay_ossl_cygwin"

I get the following error messages 'make' is not recognized as an internal or
external command, operable program or batch file or 'pcapplay_ossl_cygwin' is
not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch
file.

Even for testing I typed sipp -v, this also throws me the same error sipp' is
not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch
file.

Please let me know whether I have missed to install or change.
