I'm using Github much more heavily nowadays (my day-job work, Project Clearwater, uses it) and I find that it's a nicer interface than Sourceforge (though I still intend the project webpage to stay at http://sipp.sf.net). Plus, I want to encourage more people to become active SIPp developers, and Github forks and pull requests seem like a good step in that direction.
