Hi Dan,
You can use the exec acton to run an external commmand, like wget or
curl to do this for you (see
http://sipp.sourceforge.net/doc/reference.html#Execute+a+command).
There's currently no way to check the result of that command, but that's
planned for SIPp 3.5.
