Hi Eric ,

 Try following way,

Use same SIPP set up, instead of your system use any soft sip client like
microsip. Place call using SIPP scenario using rpt play e.g play g711.pcap
(unix) to Microsip(windows). Obserserve following behaviour
1) Run call wait till it end, observe the call tear down.(say here u have
included BYE in sipp scenario then call is tear downed by SIPP).
2) Run the call, Disconnect from microsip. Observe tear down mechanism.

If in 2nd test call tear down mechanism is fine, then there might be a problem
with your IVR system.

If 2nd test gives same behaviour you obesrving while using IVR , then there
might be problem with SIPP.

 or

Please share the .xml scenario and rtp.pcap. I will try to reproduce the
issue here.

Best regards,
Sakharam Thorat .

Subject: Re: [Sipp-users] Testing long-duration calls

Hey Cagri,

I¹ve tried it with and without streaming RTP (the pcap file I used was 40
seconds long). The hang-up (BYE) is coming from the IVR and I¹ve played
around with adjusting the length of the IVR (playing audio files, then it
hangs up). It *seems* like anything longer than 30 seconds, and SIPp
stops listening for BYEs.
