Hello,

New SIPp user, and am having difficulty with the call rate in the first second
of SIPp runs.

I have a test using a self-created xml file that places the calls into a
specified conference room and then plays a 3.5 minute wav file.

I'm SIPp version 3.5.2

sipp-3.5.2 -sf mara12.xml -m 500 -r 10 -rp 1000 -s session_$conf $server
*where session_$conf is a method of entering the conference bypassing DTMF

This works well up to call rates > 10. For call rates 11 and up, I'm seeing
burst of up to 62 calls per second in the first second, then the specified call
rate of 10 cps after that.

Is there a method of throttling that first burst? I haven't been able to find
a solution on the web yet.

Thanks!
