I'm not sure I'm totally in agreement regarding the velocity templates not belonging here. As we have discussed, the templates can be modified manually in order to provide different values or to include new/unsupported settings that haven't made their way to sipXconfig support. If we remove these templates from /etc, then any manual changes made to them will be lost during a backup/restore.
