Thinking about things further, unfortunately even if we append the
hostport to the Call-Id, we need to use a 64-bit random field, because
we can't depend on the hostport to be unique across the Internet -- an
awful lot of sipX's will have address 168.192.1.10, for instance.

IMO, we can shorten the "signature" fields (in RouteState and BranchId)
from 128 bits (32 hex chars) to 66 bits (11 base64 chars) without
running much risk of forging.  (The odds of successful random forgery
would be 2^-66 = 10^-20.)  That would save 21 characters off each branch
value.
