Right, of course.  

I would expect this dependency to be enforced.  i.e. sipXsupervisor won't 
allow/attempt running of sipXivr if FreeSWITCH isn't also running.  

How will this work in the GUI?  Would it be naïve of me to hope that attempting 
to stop FreeSWITCH alone will result in a warning that sipXivr will be stopped 
as well?

Makes sense, though that unfortunately does not make it apparent that this 
service drives the Conferencing functionality.  :(

I think we are using the trunk version, and I've been looking forward to these 
codecs too.  I think at this point then it may only be a matter of enabling 
them in sipXconfig?
