No. They actually also influence all servers. The UI is misleading. I agree with Kevin: let's remove all logging params from services screens. It was always our intention to hide/remove all low level parameters from services UI once we have a higher level UI in place. Services setting UI was meant as a settings purgatory - a place holder to keep the system manageable while we were rewriting config generation. Unfortunately there was no time to clean it up before 4.0 release but we should start removing the settings once they get real high level UI support.
