I am not sure if the mongo client connection would try to re-establish a defunct/disconnected session automatically so it is important that we know which one corrects the situation. If restarting the registrar fixes it, then nabually trying to re-stablish mongo connections is the solution. if restarting mongo fixes it, then monitoring mongo should be the answer. in a any case, the latter must be done. The former is the one we need to confirm.
