Hi,

IPv6 addresses seem to be addressed automatically.

DEVICE=eth0

BOOTPROTO=none

DHCPCLASS=

HWADDR=5C:F3:FC:28:84:DD

ONBOOT=YES

IPADDR=192.168.0.251

NETMASK=255.255.255.0

BROADCAST=192.168.0.255

NETWORK=192.168.0.0

Can I disable IPv6 (NETWORKING_IPV6=no) or does it affect the system?
As far as I know sipx is not IPv6 capable?

/etc/init.d/sipXecs stop

/etc/init.d/postgresql stop

/etc/init.d/networking restart

/etc/init.d/postgresql start

/etc/init.d/sipXecs start

?

Sincerely

Jan

Hello,

This might be the feature IPv6 has to automatically assign IPV6 addresses
based on IPV6 addresses other devices in the network have. Do you have a
static IPV6 configuration on your machine? If the setup is static the IP
address will remain the same always I gues…

Hi members,

we have a sipx 4.2.1 installation in the field which sometimes kicks all
members of a conference. I set the logging level of the media services to
debug.

This is what happened before all users were kicked:

The “IP change detected” entry occurs regularly. Has anybody seen this yet?
What can cause the IP change? Can I disable IPv6? How? Any ideas? J
