I'll work on getting the patches into consumable chuncks.

The sun-jdk are required on for suse builds in the spec, so they where probably 
added by me at some point.  I think i had an issue with ibm sun ack in 4.2.1 
builds.

So far the only other build errors are most of the rpms generate invalid LSB 
headers.  Suse seems to be very picky.  I think it requires the should-start 
and should-stop which are missing.

you're right, that's strange, i've stopped using sun jdk for a while
now so openjdk is definitely ok

be sure to organize your commits into a cohesive set of changes. One
large one of 1000 small ones will be hard to review.  You using a git
fork or are you not predicting a lot of changes

don't bother porting sipxpbx or sipxecs packages, they are not used anymore.
