We have some situations where SipX is running in a closed environment.
Means: There is no gateway or external DNS.

When using Polycom phones the boot process of the phones takes very long.
The reason is that it connects for each file to the vsftp and vsftpd tries
some kind of reverse lookup and waits for a timeout. I think the
vsftpd.conf is managed in 4.6 (created by sipxconfig?). I’m not sure about
that. If this is the case I’d raise a request to add



reverse_lookup_enable=NO



to the default vsftpd configuration.
