Can you send us a trace that shows what is wrong? Sometimes Scott or Dale or other folks working on sipXecs have a great idea for a 'hack" like we did for Microsoft before --martin ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Becker, Jesse Sent: Monday, July 21, 2008 11:44 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [sipx-users] Cisco Buggy MWI All, I integrated SipX at Houghton prior to taking a position in Kingston where I was the project lead of installing a Cisco VoIP system. I am fed up with Cisco and we are humoring the possibility of moving the Cisco phones to a different system. So far I have everything working between the phones and SipX except for the message waiting lights. After some research I found that Cisco's SIP firmware has buggy MWI RFC messages. The odd things is that I can get MWI to work on Asterisk (which I do not like), however, I cannot get them to work on SIPX. I believe Asterisk wrote around the buggy MWI messages with the Cisco phones. Do you know if it would be possible to get the MWI working on SipX? I am testing with both 7961-G and 7911-G phones running firmware SIP41.8-3-5S. Please let me know if you need any additional information from logs? Thanks in advance. I would really like to get everything working as It would provide an opportunity to migrate to SipXchange.
