I found a work around and it works perfectly I can have users using both sipx and exchange voicemail system without any problems.
it's all in the forwarding and I will post how to do this. Very easy! ----- Original Message ----- From: Akshata <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Jermaine Pinder" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [sipx-users] exchange voice mail for some users and sipx for others Date: Mon, 04 Aug 2008 17:50:38 +0530 Jermaine Pinder wrote: How can i run two voice mail systems? Is this possible? This is possible except that you have to select the priority at the time. It includes an issue http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XECS-1010 I want some of my users to use sipx voice mail system and others to use exchange 2007 vm. I have followed all the documentation but I get the exchange mailbox auto attendant when i try to leave a voice mail for users on the exchange side. If i could get the system auto attendant that would be acceptable enough or even if i could just get the users mailbox (voice mail message) that would be great. I think i have an issue with the prefix "8" sending users to the exchange user's mailbox. Can i have another prefix that can send to vm right away? This happens because default prefix for internal voicemail is 8. It will be better to add a Voicemail dial plan with extension 299 pointing towards the Exchange server with prefix 9 and activate. --Akshata Thanks in advance. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users -- Regards, Akshata Saralaya Jr. Software Engineer Qantom Software Pvt Ltd Mob: +919243022433, +919341063636 SQA partners for your products www.qantom.com << banyan_email.jpg >>
