What version of the software are you running? Did you install from ISO
or did you 'roll-your-own'?

What kind of hardware are you running it on?

I have systems up for well over a year without reboots.

Subject: [sipx-users] system regurly crashes

Hi,

Our sipxchange system has crashed regulary. The sipxchange has two
servers, snow phones and audiocode gateways. For the past two months,
the system has crashed every 30-45 days. The symptons are that both
servers run at almost 100% of CPU. However, we have not done anything
special to have triggered the cpu overuse. We did not send profiles or
anything of that nature. The system just suddenly crashed. The crashes
have happened for at least the past 4 months.

Every time when this happened, we had to restart the services or
sometimes reboot both servers. Restarting services or rebooting servers
usually fix the problem quite quickly.

However, we are very puzzeled why this has been happening. We use the
commercial version of sipxchange but have not received a fix or solution
from Pingtel yet.

Does anyone have similar experiences and know what the potential causes
are and how to fix this? Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

regards

BW
