Thanks to everybody who responded. I think the Exchange 2007 option is the best idea for me (assuming it works!). It’d also give me a reason to upgrade from 2003.

If so, I think you’re looking for a BrookTrout board. We use FaxCom, which is excellent software that makes use of a BrookTrout TR1034 card. The TR1034 is capable of either IP fax using T.38 over Ethernet, or T1-based fax (PRI, CCS, whatever) – it has two ports, a T1 port and an Ethernet port.
