Well, good news! It appears that this issue has been resolved. Ranga sent me an update to test. After applying this update, I had 0 lost packets. There were no major issues with the call quality.
I'll be doing further tests in a week or so, once I receive a Polycom phone to test with. I'll update this thread with my results.
