Adding that entry broke the BLF lights for the receptionist. I've changed it
back...

I've often seen with wireless phones (linksys, snom, hp) that their ability to
usr SRV records "sucks".

Usually I have to create an "a" record for the domain and point it to the IP
for sipx. Its not elegant, but getting these guys to listen and fix it is
sometimes pointless. I would try this.

pfnnet.net A 172.16.1.2

Then put the domain in the phone and restart the phone. The fact that it might
break something else in DNS is also a problem.

Let us know if that works.

Subject: [sipx-users] Linksys Wireless-G IP Phone

I'm trying to register a Linksys Wireless-G IP Phone to sipXecs. I've tried
using IP for proxy/domain, FQDN for proxy/domain, FQDN for proxy but just the
domain for domain, etc. It responds telling me I'm using the wrong credentials
however I have verified the username and password. Here is a snippit.

Has anyone been successful using one of these? I can register a Polycom phone
as this user without any problems.
