I'm looking for branch location deployment examples and documentation. The information on the sipfoundry website (http://www.sipfoundry.org/use-cases.html) is useful but it doesn't go into detail regarding the setup. I'm having a hard time finding answers for questions like:
When is it best to use a VPN instead of separate SIP domains? What are the pros/cons of using multiple domains vs. VPNs between the two (or three, four, etc.)? What additional hardware is required to achieve redundancy/high availability at each location? What is the recommended implementation practice regarding NATs/firewalls between branch offices?
