I am using version 3 when I install version 4 I cant seem to get IE8 to
work. And  I am not sure how to upgrade to version 4, I am a newbie to
the system.

If you are using 4.x you need to make sure you followed the steps to
allow nat traversal and forwarding the proper protocol/ports to allow
registration and media.

You should also have a public dns record that resolves your dns srv
records to your firewall.

Can you use xlite over the Internet, I opened all my ports to the sipx
server and I seem to register ok, but I don't seem to be able to make a
call. Anyone know the answer, do you need a vpn tunnel to do this, or
can you do it just over the internet?
