SipX media services at the moment can not support anything other than G.711u. If you have 2 end points however that want to talk with a different Codec, sipX does not care about that because it's not in the middle of the conversation.
CAC - not to my knowledge. QoS Marking - the phones can flag their traffic, the gateways can flag their traffic and for the PBX I typically force the QoS flagging of the port that the PBX is plugged into in the switching equipment. I was wondering if there is any support on SIPX for the following features: - Codec support (other than G.711u). Can SIPX support G.729 or G.711a? - Can SIPX support Call Admission Control (CAC)? - Can SIPX support QoS marking for SIP signaling and RTP packets? Thanks in advance for all help, ________________________________ Hotmail: Free, trusted and rich email service. Get it now. <http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/171222984/direct/01/>
