I set up SIPTAPI which works most of the time and allows me to dial from Novell GroupWise or any other TAPI compliant application, but the windows XP dialer.exe application is terrible and doesn't look like it's been updated in 10 or so years. I haven't seen anything that could replace dialer.exe though.
