Gateway setting only. You can create some 'phantom' gateways that point
to the same IP as your gateway and then secure those gateways by user
'locations / groups'.

Subject: [sipx-users] Group based outbound caller ID name

Is it possible to set the outbound caller ID name within a user group or

is this limited to the gateway settings only? What I would like to do is

specify outbound caller ID based on the name of the department (user
group), and specify their generic department number/auto attendant
number as the caller ID number. I see how setting the number is possible

from within the user group settings, but not the name. I will be using
an Audiocodes Mediant 1000 gateway with Verizon PRI service.
