I prefer patton for this. Its nice to be able to get factory direct support. ============================ Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 Fax: 434.984.8431 Email: tgrazi...@myitdepartment.net LAN/Telephony/Security and Control Systems Helpdesk: Telephone: 434.984.8426 Fax: 434.984.8427 Helpdesk Contract Customers: http://www.myitdepartment.net/gethelp/ ----- Original Message ----- From: sipx-users-boun...@list.sipfoundry.org <sipx-users-boun...@list.sipfoundry.org> To: sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org <sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org> Sent: Fri Dec 11 21:49:37 2009 Subject: [sipx-users] ATA device for emergency analog lines I know plenty of you have done this, so I just wanted to know what hardware people have had the best experiences with. We are on sip only from the carrier at the moment. We want to put 4 to 6 backup lines in. They are being delivered on analog lines (split of a pri) using this: http://www.adtran.com/web/page/portal/Adtran/product/1200309E1 I put ATA in the subject, because I have heard several names for this device and wasn't sure which was correct. I'm looking for recommendations for a 4 and 8 port device to take analog lines and convert them to sip for backup inbound (and probably) outbound calls in an emergency. I know that are many that can do the job. I just wanted to hear what has worked the best for others. Thanks as always. -Matthew _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/ _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
