We tried dropping the database, then when sipx asked for a new superadmin 
password, we got the java error again. So we decided to reload the server and 
restore from backups. Seems to be working... for now.

I suppose you could drop the database and re-enter everything.  But from
the looks of the error message, it seems that "Ciscoplus" phones have
something to do with it.
