The only way to make Adtran gateways work with sipX is to use sipXbridge. The newest version of their firmware has partial support for REFER but attended transfers and directed call pickup don't work. I gave up on my TA908e and bought an Audiocodes Mediant 1000 at twice the price. I do miss the simplicity of the Adtran though. In the end you have to use what works.
