On a new install from 4.0.4 ISO, I get these email messages as a result of a cron job scheduled by sipxchange to run every 30 minutes.
/usr/bin/sipxconfig-report > /dev/null /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `initialize': Connection refused - connect(2) (Errno::ECONNREFUSED) from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `open' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `connect' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/timeout.rb:48:in `timeout' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/timeout.rb:76:in `timeout' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `connect' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:553:in `do_start' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:542:in `start' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/netHttpClient.rb:115:in `start' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/netHttpClient.rb:92:in `post' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/streamHandler.rb:170:in `send_post' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/streamHandler.rb:109:in `send' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/rpc/proxy.rb:170:in `route' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/rpc/proxy.rb:141:in `call' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/rpc/driver.rb:178:in `call' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/soap/rpc/driver.rb:232:in `getCallHistory' from /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/sipXconfig-report-1.0.0/lib/report.rb:34:in `run' from /usr/bin/sipxconfig-report:133 This system is acting as DHCP and DNS. Passes all preflight tests. All services are running without errors and no errors running configtest. I think I would lean towards an issue with the certificate, but the certificate was generated by the system at install and has not shown any issues that would indicate a certificate issue. I also verified the only yum repo was the one installed by the ISO and it has not been edited to change from CentOS 5.2 to CentOS 5. I can also see this happens on 4.1.6. I see the "sipx_specific"ruby at /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems which says: ENV['GEM_PATH'] = '@GEM_LIB_DIR@:/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8:/var/lib/gems/1.8' but the /usr/bin/sipxconfig-report says: ENV['GEM_PATH'] = '/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8:/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8:/var/lib/gems/1.8' I am a little confused, as maybe the sipxconfig-report is too. What should ENV['GEM_PATH'] be and shouldn't it work? Is there a symlink missing or does it work for everyone else? When I ran the installed test I simply installed a system on a test box and rebooted, yet this happens. It seems like it should not. Tony
