Hello All,

I accidentally ran into this issue with sipXecs while working on my
project. Thought of letting you guys know about it. May be its a known
issue. If it is, my apologies.

When I make a call from a valid user registered with sipX to another
valid registered sipX user. I get a 407 Proxy authenticate challenge.
sipX accepts my MD5 response calculated with "any" (unknown/non
existing) user name and password. sipX should actually reject my
response with another 407 until I authenticate with a correct and
valid nuser name and password.

However, I don't see this issue for any outbound calls via trunk to my
ITSP. It happens only for locally terminated calls. My version of
sipXecs, 4.0.1-015823.

Thanks,
Arjun
