Has anyone used the sipXecs paging server to integrate to an analogue PA system?
We are in the process of designing a solution which can integrate to an existing PA system. I understand the sipXecs page server provides the functionality, but I have not been able to work out if sipXecs can integrate to the analogue PA system with an analogue gateway e.g. an audio codes box. So the scenario is sipXecs hosted on a head office location with a data connection with QoS to a remote site which has an analogue PA system. If we install an audio codes box on the remote site can I plug the PA system into on one of the analogue ports and configure that port in sipXecs to be a SIP end point which can then be auto answered. The below is the information I have found on the foundry website the "in-ceiling speaker for paging services" is what I want a solution for.
