Tony,

I have one server that supports three businesses. The way it is setup is
they each have their own ITSP account. I set up three separate gateways,
and three different Phone groups. Each phone group is assigned to do
dialing with one particular Gateway. It works fine.

Additionally, we have the VOP console answering calls for the three
companies. By building an additional directory in VOP, and then building a
database of called numbers and the associated company name, when a call
comes in, VOP displays the Caller id for the call, as well as the company
they called by translating the called number to the name in that new
directory. It's very slick. It allows for a centralized receptionist for
the three companies.

Subject: [sipx-users] sipxbridge with one server, two branches

I am trying to understand what would be the simplest way to use two
branches for one system with sipxbridge to be able to separate the
trunks/dialplans and ultimately the gateway they use.

Short of putting a second server in, I have a customer consolidating
two branches for a period of time. I don't see it is possible to use
more than one instance of sipxbridge on a standalone system. I want to
ensure the second branch uses only their trunks While I can do this
with "branch" functions in 4.1.7-dev and later, I cannot create
another sipxbridge instance (or clone it) to allow it to pick this
second branch.

I know this is not what it was intended for. I know I can create a
siptrunk and assign it and its associated dial plan rules to that
branch, I just don't understand how I can get sipxbridge to handle
both branches. I suspect I cannot do this, but is there a way to
achieve what I need here?
