Hi all,

looking at
http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/xecsuserV4r2/Custom+FreeSWITCH+programming i
see that it's quite possible to use "local freeswitch" as sip - h323 gateway.
I'm going to implement it on the test sipx 4.2.1 instance first. I use sipx
installed from 4.2.1 (ezuce) iso.
I found that there is no mod_h323 installed. I'll probably need to add ptlib
and h323plus libraries, required by FS mod_h323 module.

Can anybody please advise if i need to compile them?
Can i just compile FS (i mean FS as it is without sipx) with h323 somewhere,
and put libraries into appropriate directories on the sipx machine?
Which FS version should i use to compile h323 module for use with
sipx/freeswitch? will 1.0.6 be ok?
The thing is that FS installed with the sipx shows the following version:
[r...@sipx ~]# /usr/local/freeswitch/bin/fs_cli -x version
FreeSWITCH Version 1.0.head (17188.16739.1)
How much does it differ from 1.0.6?

Thanks in advance,
Nikolay.
