saw this post:
well, I want my caller id to work the RIGHT way (I want to see the caller id of the CALLER, not my sipx phone) external caller calls a DID, that user associated with the DID will call fwd externally after 10 seconds.

strange as this sounds, I can only seem to get one of three results:

  1. our main DID us used in the outbound caller id
  2. a '4' is shown (its the first number in our ITSP account in the
     gateway)
  3. 4 digits, then the caller id of the user (when using transform
     caller id in the gateway)

Francis Tinio wanted to do it, and I have it happening and don't know why.
sipx 4.2.0, using sipxbridge and Level3 as an ITSP.
(we looked at the headers at level3 and they say sipx is re-writting them)

so, maybe I accidentally broke something, and might be able to tell Francis how
to do what he wants :-)

I need to forward one phone to a mobile number when the user is on the
road. How can I accomplish this such that the forwarded call's ID is
changed, to say the DID of the sipxserver? This way, there is a way to
identify to the mobile user if the call going through his cell is a
forwarded call from his IP Phone.

There is no way to do that at present.
