My understanding of this is that the cisco (despite claims to the contrary) are trying to do the c=0.0.0.0 hold, right?

# rfc_2543 is OBSOLETE, c=0.0.0.0 hold is OBSOLETE, poly's use a=sendonly, rfc_3264

rfc_2543_hold: 0

            Connection Information (c): IN IP4 0.0.0.0
                Connection Network Type: IN
                Connection Address Type: IP4
                Connection Address: 0.0.0.0
if I look at the settings for the polycom, they say this:

useRFC2543hold (Default: unchecked)
If checked, use the obsolete c=0.0.0.0 RFC2543 technique, otherwise, use SDP media direction attributes (such as a=sendonly) per RFC 3264 when initiating hold. *In either case, the phone processes incoming hold signaling in either format.*

Something/someone is lying.
because the polycom doesn't like it:
