There is no DID alias field for the hunt group. It is not "typical" to create a hunt group number "as" the DID/DDI number. I am consistent in recommending an internal dial plan (3-4 digits, etc. depending on the user needs) as "numbers" and not names. Using names, DID's as aliases.
By using a user, one can also create a schedule and route calls to an auto attendant based on hours also (working hours calls got to hunt group, afterwards the go to an AA).
