Unfortunately, we somehow have lost the ability to restart any of our phones
from the SipX gui since the last major updates. Both LG and Cisco phones
will not restart, even though the Job Status in SipX says restarted
successfully. We have to manually restart the phones to obtain the new
profiles.

You will find it easier than ever now. You can add the line and reboot it
without touching it.
